About the Role
We are looking for a driven and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, helping to generate new business opportunities and build relationships that drive growth. You will identify prospects, reach out through multiple channels, qualify leads, and work closely with the sales and marketing teams to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities
1. Building the FlexUp Hub Ecosystem:
- Identify, engage, and onboard primary target users for the FlexUp platform, including entrepreneurs, advisors, freelancers, investors, public agencies, and anchor networks like incubators and business schools.
- Develop and nurture a "FlexUp Hub"—a thriving local community of users who actively use the platform and collaborate with one another.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and develop strategic partnerships to accelerate ecosystem growth
2. Driving Growth and Adoption (Year 1 Focus):
- Significantly increase user sign-ups and drive platform usage, measured by the number of transactions per account.
- Raise awareness about FlexUp in your region through targeted communication, active networking, and organizing engaging events.
- Leverage our generous free plan and valuable tools, like contract frameworks, to attract a wide user base.
3. Monetization and Value Conversion (Year 2 Focus):
- Generate revenue from subscription fees for premium features and advisory services.
- Ensure free users successfully transition to paid plans by helping them leverage the full power of the FlexUp ecosystem.
- Utilize FlexUp's flexible payment structure to enable startups to access advisory services by paying with equity, which converts to revenue for FlexUp upon their success.
4. General Business Development Activities
- Identify new business opportunities, analyse market trends, and incorporate feedback to refine strategy.
- Develop and present compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with FlexUp’s central sales and marketing teams
Who We Are Looking For
Experience & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, and strategic partnerships.
- A master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Fluency in English is required, along with professional fluency in your local language.
Skills & Mindset:
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in market analysis and the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- An entrepreneurial spirit: you are a proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, remote-first environment.

- Knowledge of business management software (ERP, accounting tools) is a plus

Compensation Package
We offer a competitive salary package structured according to our own FlexUp model. Your initial compensation will be entirely in FlexUp equity (Credits and Tokens) during the first ~6 months, until we raise funds or start generating revenues.
